Comments: This via friends of mine who were in Kildare in Feb: Brighid's well at Kildare is not flowing properly. The well, and many wells in the town, are drying up or malfunctioning after they went ahead with a road project that is, in my friend Cheryl's words, "spitting distance" from the holy well itself. Cheryl was there in Feb., and there was only a trickle from the well. There's a secondary well, that also feeds into the channel where pilgrims collect water, and that one seems to be doing somewhat better. Most, and by now maybe all, of the water flowing into the channel is now coming from this other well. I find this very worrisome. Have done some magic and journeying on it, but have heard almost nothing online or in the news. I think most people haven't even heard about this. Information doesn't seem to be flowing well, either.
