Blessings all! I am the Lady Brighid - Witch, Dryad, Priestess of Brighid, and Teacher/Student at the University of Life (we teach that which we most need to know). Actually, Lady Brighid is my web presence (there's a long story in how that came about which I will spare you); the real world knows me as Gwen Tollefson. I was born, raised, and still reside in the Pacific Northwest with three furry teachers: Tiamat (Queen Tia, a domestic black short hair who's beautiful enough to do some modeling work, but don't tell her as it'll go to her head - and be careful when you name your cat after a Goddess and a Dragon), Higgins (a LARGE, mottled brown, completely anti-social lop ear rabbit), and Puck (otherwise known as Puckerdoodle, a domestic orange tabby and resident ankle-biter - I have a real soft spot for redheads).
I have been on a spiritual path nearly since the day I was born and I find little has changed in these (currently) 37 years. (There is no rest for the weary!) Though I am a solitary Witch, I have been blessed with a wonderful spiritual family; our collective background of paths and traditions is varied, broad, and deeply felt, studied, and practiced. I truly consider this a blessing for it allows me to see that, though there may be one path for any one person, there is no one path for all. All paths are equal. All paths are valid. All paths have something to offer those who walk them in grace, honor, wisdom, and humility. Knowing this has helped me to not only be tolerant but also respectful of all, regardless of tradition or religious affiliation. I work closely with spirit guides, practice a variety of divination techniques (though mainly tarot), have a personal affinty for dragons and elephants, and seem to have the innate abilty to create vortices (I'm still figuring this one out). I spend the majority of my free time creating; from web sites and dreamcatchers to poetry and magickal tools, there is nothing I can't create, only things I have not yet created. If there is something I can create for you, you need only ask.
