Brighid's Fire - Magickal Blends

These are my own personal blends for you to use as is or adapt as needed. Though each blend was created for use within a specific medium (candle, bath salt, annointing oil, or incense), the blends can be used in alternate mediums. I myself will often use a candle blend in a bath salt and an annointing oil blend in a candle. The one exception is the incense blends, as they are created from herbs rather than oils, however, the incense blends could be used to make an infusion for an herbal bath.

AIR 4 parts Lavender
3 parts Bergamot Mint
2 parts Peppermint
Herb: Sage
Color: Purple Created as a candle blend. This is the first of 4 elemental blends.

BANISHING/
PROTECTION Vetivert
Sandalwood
Dragon's Blood
Lavender
Rosemary Created as an incense blend. Use your own instincts in determining exact proportions.

BRIGHID'S FIRE 6 parts Orange
5 parts Cedarwood
4 parts Frankincense
Herb: Rosemary or Nutmeg Created as a candle blend to honor The One to whom I am dedicated.

CIRCLE 9 parts Rosemary
6 parts Juniper
6 parts Sandalwood
1 part Peppermint
1 part Patchouli
-1 part Cinnamon (perhaps only a drop or two) Created as a bath salt blend for auric cleansing prior to circle work. (Use caution with the cinnamon; it is a skin irritant.)

CLARITY 1 part Bergamot Mint
1 part Lemon
1 part Rosemary Created as a candle blend to aid in clear thinking and promote psychic vision.

CONSECRATION 2 parts Frankincense
2 parts Sandalwood
1 part Nutmeg Created as an incense blend for smudging and smoke consecration.

DRAIG TEINE 6 parts Ginger
4 parts Rosemary
2 parts Clove
1 part Cinnamon

DRUID'S BLEND I
THE LABYRINTH 1 part Chamomile
1 part Lavendar
1 part Sandalwood Created as a candle blend especially for a Druid friend of mine. As below (see DRUID'S BLEND II), I didn't make note of the intent of this blend, but as I was creating a new candle for my dear friend, it became clear to me. DRUID'S BLEND II 1 part Sandalwood
1 part Bergamot Mint
1 part Ylang-Ylang Created as a candle blend especially for a Druid friend of mine. (Of course, I was a bad Witch and didn't make further note of its intent. The working title for this blend is JOE'S CANDLE.)

EARTH 5 parts Vetivert
3 parts Cypress
1 part Patchouli
Herb: Oakmoss
Color: Green Created as a candle blend. This is the second of 4 elemental blends.

FAERY SPIRIT 6 parts Oakmoss

2 parts Patchouli Created as a candle blend to honor and delight the fae that inhabit my world. This is a very earthy blend.

1 part Orange
Herb: Dragon's Blood
Color: Red Created as a candle blend. This is the third of 4 elemental blends.

FORTUNA 6 parts Bergamot Mint
4 parts Orange
5 parts Patchouli Created as a candle blend. I use this one whenever I'm doing prosperity work.

HECATE 3 parts Sandalwood
2 parts Cypress
1 part Peppermint Created as an oil blend for annointing when invoking Hecate.

LIONESS 2 parts Orange
1 part Pettigrain
1 part Peppermint
1 part Juniper Created as a candle blend especially for my Sister, Lioness. This is a very solar blend.

MOON 1 part Jasmine
1 part Sandalwood Created as an oil blend for Esbat ritual annointing.

MOON GODDESS 5 parts Sandalwood
3 parts Lemon
1 part Rose Created as a bath salt blend for use prior to Esbat rituals.

OAK TREE 6 parts Oakmoss
5 parts Vetivert
3 parts Cypress
1 part Patchouli Created as a candle blend to honor my favorite oak tree. This is another earthy blend.

SABBAT 2 parts Juniper
1 part Ginger
1 part Sandalwood
-1 part Cinnamon (only a drop or two) Created as an oil blend for Sabbat ritual annoining. (Again, use caution with the cinnamon oil; it is a skin irritant.)

STAR GODDESS 4 parts Sandalwood
3 parts Lemon
2 parts Chamomile Created as a candle blend. This is infused with Celestial qualities.

WATER 1 part Sandalwood
1 part Lemon
1 part Ylang-Ylang
Herb: Heather
Color: Blue Created as a candle blend. This is the fourth of 4 elemental blends.

WITCH'S 3 parts Rosemary
2 parts Juniper
1 part Cinnamon
1 part Orange Created as a soap blend for cleaning items to be used in magickal creations.

WOLF 7 parts Sandalwood
5 parts Oakmoss
3 parts Patchouli Created as a candle blend for a wolf friend of mine. This is another earthy blend.
